I love resources like Smashing Magazine and I use them often, but sometimes I wonder about the line between helpful and overwhelming on the web. "301+ CSS tools and techniques" sounds exciting at first, but searching through such a huge library of examples feels almost like searching the entire Internet. Some of the links are fantastic, sure, but some of them aren't, and it's frustrating when I have to spend hours just ORGANIZING (not even using!) these resources.
Mostly for my own reference (although I'll be thrilled if you find this useful!), I've compiled the following list of 'definitive' typography resources on the web. They are sorted into categories, and each category has no more than THREE links. The only exception is 'Examples of Excellent Typography in Action,' which was simply impossible to pare down to three - five was hard enough!
Stay tuned for further installments in this series - Photoshop resources, CSS techniques, color selection, etc. Comment, and let me know what you'd like to see come next!
