I love to read a good book ..... and will read almost anything. Gabaldon, Walt Whitman, Oriana Fallaci (every Westerner should read her stuff immediately!). A good book and a cup of builders tea and I am one happy girl.
Stuff I do...
First and foremost I am a mother to a lovely daughter, I am a scientist by profession, I go see lots of live music, I spend lots of time working out and playing sports, I travel a lot.
Stuff I like...
Motherhood, Music, Concerts, Sports, Western Civilization History, Science (biology and chemistry mainly), Gardening and Traveling (UK, Mexico, Europe). Favorite places on the planet are Scotland and Mexico.....not necessarily in that order. Like red wine. Like Mexican food. Like tea, tea, and more tea. Like the color brown and the number 11. Like the sweet innocent way my daughter looks when she is sleeping, the incredibly loud sound of silence when you sit at the edge of the Grand Canyon, the sound of professional hockey players checking against the glass, the way soil feels as it sifts through your fingers, and those surreal moments in life when you feel like you're in slow motion.
