What up everbody so glad you're here, It's Bobby C with the 303 in ya ear. I'll make this like a dating web-site and tell you a little about myself-I'm an old fashioned guy, I like long walks on the beach, bearskin carpets......Wait a minute....... I meant to say---DJ Bobby C has been rocking venues for the past 7 years. He mixes anything and everything to create a party-rocking experience. High energy, multi-genre mixes with many of his favorite tracks being layered one on top of the other to create live remixes with hip-hop, turntablist sensibilities. Taking DJing back to its roots, but keeping an eye on the future. Playing everything from Hip-Hop, Deep House, Funk, Rock, Dancehall, Bhangra, Downtempo, Trip-Hop, Breakbeat and often all in the same set. DJ Bobby C finished 3rd out of 2,200 entries in the 2006 Westword DJ Mix Competition. He was the only multi-genre DJ to be a finalist. His track "Mellotronic" saw it's national release on the Pangea Natural Selection Compilation. He appeared alongside national artists such as Bassnectar, Cosmic Rocker and DJ Harry. Thus far the release has had articles and reviews in Billboard Magazine, XLR8R, Image, Igloo magazines and at Properlychilled.com (who called his track "Mellotronic" a downtempo classic, they are wise). He has also recently liscensed his tracks "You" and "Suburban" to be part of the soundtrack for the upcoming indie film "Suburban". Next Spring will see the nationwide release of his full-length album on Black Bridge Records. He has also started his own promotions company, B-Sides Events. In just one year of existence his company has booked shows with national artists such as Rjd2, 4 shows with Z-Trip, Kid Koala, Guru, DJ Spinna, DJ P, Madlib, J-Rocc of the Beat Junkies for the 10th anniversary tour for the Stone's Throw label considered to be the best independent hip-hop label in the world. He recently joined 4 time Best of Westword winner, DJ Ivy for their weekly event in Boulder. He has shared the stage with many national acts including-George Clinton and the P-funk Allstars, Blackalicious, De La Soul, The Pharcyde, Rakim, Guru from Gangstarr, People Under the Stairs, Kid Capri, DJ P, DJ Greyboy, DJ Vadim, DJ First Rate, DJ Logic, DJ Spinna, Kid Koala, Z-Trip, Rjd2, Q-Bert, Digital Underground, Maceo Parker, Kool Keith, Tre Hardson of the Pharcyde, Fishbone, Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra, John Scofield, El Vez the Mexican Elvis, Corey Feldman and so on and so on. He has played just about every venue in his home state of Colorado and some highlights include the Denver Coliseum, Fillmore Auditorium, Mishawaka Ampitheatre, Ogden, Fox, Gothic, Bluebird, Aggie, Cervante's, 8150, Calypso and so on. Bobby has played the following corporate events-Private Events For the Scratch DJ Academy NYC, VIP Party for Denver International Film Festival, Marlboro Cigarettes 50th Anniversary, HBO Boxing, Great American Beer Festival, The Fashion Project Denver, Denver Post VIP Parties, numerous fundraisers and fashion shows.
