I originated in the Australian island state of Tasmania (yes, the land down under, the land down under).

And yes, they really do have Tasmanian Devils that sound kinda like the Warner Bros Cartoon, but even more gnarlier, but no they don't spin around. They will however bite your arm (or leg) off if you aren't careful.

I lived in Sydney through my late 20's till I met my wife Lane and moved to Hawaii in 97 and I've been here on the north shore ever since.
It's pretty cool here in Hawaii. We have world quality surf here for 5 or 6 months of the year and perfect underwater-diving conditions for the other half of the year.

If I get bored, I can always set up a trip somewhere for a few weeks. It's all good. I usually manage to get over to Tasmania every year round April-ish.

I've managed to haul a ton of camera gear to a lot of places over the years. here's some of them;
Fiji, most of Australia, England, Ireland, New Zealand, Hebredie Islands (Scotland), Tahiti, Brazil, Cocos Keeling Islands, West Java, Haipai Islands, Nova Scotia (Canada), Mexico, Cook Islands, Mentawai Islands, Rottnest Island, Kingdom of Tonga, Samoa, King Island, British Columbia (Canada), Japan, Micronesia
some cool cities along the way too, including, Sydney, Las Vegas, New York City, London, Tokyo, San Francisco; all places that should be visited at least once.

My work appears in literally dozens of magazines in several different countries including, Australia, USA, France, England, Brasil, Germany, Italy, United Kindom.
Over the past few years, I have steadily built up my name in the fine art photography circles with shows recently in Honolulu, Sao Paulo and Los Angeles.

My images can also be purchased from the following fine art retailers;

I read a bunch of John Irving's novels back in the day after initially reading "The world according to Garp", Michael Chrichton is my current favourite. His novel; "The Breathren" is awesome and considering the current state of.ings here n the U.S, it's quite a timely read.
body-surfing, swimming, snorkelling, taking photographs, especially in and under the water. Generally, just kicking it in shorts and a tank top. It's always warm here. It's a pretty casual lifestyle here in the islands, but I'm always busy, just at a slower pace to the mainlanders.
drinking moonshine (in Kentucky), seeing the green flash (when the sun disappears over the horizon, it will flash green) (most evenings here in Hawaii), drinking "Monkey's Lunch's" at the Turtle Bay Pool Bar while the sun sets over the surfers out front, Hiking 2 1/2 hours into Shipsterns Bluff Tasmania with 40 pounds of camera gear and then a further 3 hours back out, watching a seal body-surf at a New Zealand beach (that was cool), swimming with whales in Tonga, swimming with turtles and dolphins here in Hawaii, swimming out at big Pipeline with a camera and having to time it to get back in to the beach, shooting tow-in surfers on 60 foot waves from a helicopter,
