A Perverted Portrait of Our Perfect Savior

In todays society there is a perverted, obscured, form of Jesus Christ. That is due to many things but im going to focus on one subject particularly, and that would be the way we portray Christ. The so called "Christians" are distorting Jesus in so many ways. Just the way we live everyday sets the bar for what a Christian is. This is probably not new at all, but if is then it is. And if you know this already, then it can serve as a reminder, but anyways...

As, true, faithful, Christians we should not be worried about what the world thinks and that alone should be evident in our lives. As well as us being Christians be evident in our lives to unbelievers. That alone draws an idea what a life of Christianity is like. but now its time to color it in, and the big problem is the way we portay the picture of our Master.

Its not good to portay way to portay Jesus Christ as a being who lets you go in heaven although you live like hell. that is called a carnal christian which obviously isnt real because thats just not biblical. now other people who profess to be true believers but are those kind who put on their church shirt and say i love jesus and god when around true christians then when not take it off and store it for later. that my friend is deciet. which i used to have a big problem with. just look at what they feed their soul and then what comes out is their fruit which is bad fruit. you can only take in so much before it starts seeping out. then there are just out-in-the-open non believers who dont even pretend to put on a show. they show it everywhere, dont even pretend for a split second. this type has more gut than the last one.

anyways what im getting at is whoever you see you have a set thought about them. so when people look at us they have a set thought thats a christian. heres an illustration- you have a cork board. and when you see someone you write down what your thought is on a piece of paper and pin it on the board. you also see they're actions and you them on the board, too. well tihs is sort of like what our minds do. now say an unbeliever observes us and our actions . what are they gonna think? we are a bunch of hypocrites not living like a true christ follower. i pray not, but i dont know. i think we need to actually live the life a persecuted, converted, soul saved follower. this is a verse of what a true christian should look like Galatians 5:22-23 "But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law" So... this reminds me of the amazing sermon Brett preached when he said what if Paul came and asked where is your calvary, brother?

also another problem that i see is that we have big vocab. words but they have no meaning if we don't live like the christians we are called to be.

Dominoes

story of dominoes.

okay, there were two monks fighting over some reason, and they were punished by moving rocks from one pile to another. well, they also were not allowed to talk just pray in latin. so the monks made a game, they wrote numbers on the rocks. and somehow they made a game by moving rocks. and when won they yelled "dominoe" and that means lord in latin so people wouldnt get suspicious.

so i thought that was neat, but maybe im a nerd.

Detention Stinks Part 2

okay... this is the part 2 of the blog i wrote called detention stinks.
the bell rings and i know its detention time. but there is one problem. where do you go? i asked five people, all of them say im not sure. but all isnt bad because i have a good friend cade! cade asked some teenager that looked like he's been in detention at least one or twice, or maybe 200000 times before. he told me i had to go to the office. so i did. when i got in there they told me to take a seat and someone will pick you up. and guess what... no one i mean no one came to pick me up. so they told me to go to a desk around the corner. i did. it was really boring and horrible. i had a picture of a scary girl outside of the principal office with a big huge nasty purple black eye. i tried to ignore it by drawing a gnome. i finally got to go home at 4:00. it was another bad thing i had to get my brown wavy locks cut off my head at becka loders house. it wasnt bad, brady kept me occupied for an hour and then we watched santa claus 3. then my mom came and made that stupid noise that moms make when they think something is cute. but it was me. i went home hearing complimants on how cute i was. i got home and went to bed.

Detention Stinks

getting detention really stinks. as a matter of fact im gonna get detention monday. this is how it happened.....................

its another day in health class, i hate health. it was a really boring dragged out class today, except all days are like that. we just got finished watching a stupid eye video on how our eyes "evolved." the bell finally rings, and i start getting my things together. well, 2 other kids run out before me. i didnt know my teacher, i dont like even calling her teacher, more like an annoying instructor who dances in front of the class, (she dances horribly), had to say something. so i go out the door and go to 7th period. after that i get on the bus and look at people out the window who scare me and think in my head "i need to love them like christ." the ride home was boring and smelly because this big smelly guy sits next to me, luckily i got the window seat. i finally get home and start in my homework by reading the hobbit. i finish the chapter as soon as my mom called me she said i got a call from your health teacher and i have detention because i wasnt excused from the classroom, in my head i was thinking "this is total bogas!!" not really im not from the 70s, but it was something like that. my mom said it was an extreme over-do. my mom said im not in trouble, so im not worrying about it. thats basically my day since 6th period. i hope you enjoy this to an extent. also i hope to show how weird and unjustice-y health teachers are.
