"Do you still love me my dear Rainbow June?" asked the old oak tree as he kissed her sparkling hand. "For as long as there is rain and sun, I will always love you dear old oak."
Those are the last words the old oak will never forget as he waved goodbye to his rainbow love. For he waited and wished for the rain to dance a beautiful dance with the sun and make Rainbow June appear again. He oftern wondered if he had wished to hard.
The rain and sun had come and gone and the old oak became so much older. He began to lose all hope and even his wonderful leafs too. He closed his eyes as if to pass on, when he heard the sweetest of voices. "Why have you given up hope my dear old oak?" His eyes opened slowly and smiling down on him was his rainbow love. "Do you still love me dear Rainbow June?" She smiled and kissed his cheek. "As long as there is rain and sun I will never stop loving you dear old oak."
.The End.
