I'm Ashley and I am from North Carolina but I go to school at Southern Wesleyan University in South Carolina. I am a communications and computer science minor. I am totally in love with God & I am learning how to be more like him every day. It is at times a struggle but with my faith in Christ I know he can give me the strength to over come those struggles. I have been attending NewSpring Church since August and I became a member in February. I have recently began volunteering with the Production team and I love it! I am new at this virb thing so I'm trying to learn more :)

Car rides on 85

Today as I was leaving school I started listening to praise and worship music. I never thought I could have such an amazing time of worship while driving down 85 through 5 o'clock traffic!! I realized that I was no longer getting angry and feeling like I could hurt someone but I was worshiping the creator of the heavens and earth. I felt as though God was telling me that some things in life aren't worth getting upset over. There is nothing I can do about it so why not sit back and admire the King of the Universe? God is so amazing and choses ways to move through people that they are least expecting. I'm so glad that I got to have this experience. So its safe to say that today was one of the best road trips ever :)
