Hello again, gentle viewer. The Nineteenth State train is chuggin' along quite nicely, as evidenced by the fact that we have ALREADY completed 5 new shorts in this, the 2007th year AD. And it's only April! Speaking of which, you can now watch 2 MORE of those films, namely Studio Studs (featuring the mighty BJ Sunfire) and Broken VCR, here on MySpace and over on our YouTube page. We also have a wicked new trailer for Live Ones, just in case you need to be convinced that that particular film is worth 29 minutes and 45 seconds of your life. And Cake Cake Cake will be made available to all you internetters just as soon as we can figure out a way to get it under 10 minutes.
In other news, our humble collective is currently at work on another short film entitled Little Sister Manipulator, written by Ms. Kristin Peach of Cake Cake Cake fame, and starring Peach, David Brant and David Orr, who has temporarily left his typewriter to try his hand at acting. We're 2/3 done shooting, and so far the results are certainly above average! Look for a final product sometime this summer.
In other other news, if you see this early enough make sure to get yourself over to The Art Hospital tonight for the Hospital Staff Art Show, featuring work by the folks who make the Art Hospital happen. Of particular interest at this exhibit is a looped playback of Time-Lapse Experiment #3, along with a collaboration featuring the fashions of Amy Karr (the one responsible for those delicious blue shorts in Live Ones, as well as the riveting portrayal of Melinda in the above-mentioned film) combined with the photography of William Winchester Claytor. Not to be missed!
