Hey, it's good to see so many of you cybernauts looking at the videos on this MySpace profile. I would say that two years ago, I wouldn't have expected that to be happening right now, but I guess that's what life is like. You know what, "Live Ones" is shaping up really well. We had a productive meeting the other night. I think the fantasy scenes in this really top the flashback from "GWS." Matt Vrabel's performance as the ramblin' Sheldon Van Buren is delightful, because he has lots of emotions and hidden dreams rattling around under his face, and his facial expressions. Also, he runs really funny in a scene. Amy Karr brings a misdirected intensity of longing to her character, the female Melinda Marshall. Also, Michael Anderson creeps around like a mockery of a scorned husband who doesn't eat or sleep much, which is exactly hat the role of Mr. Thierry called for. Don't forget about plucky Justin Vollmar as the mysterious and alluring Pokey, nuts ahoy!
I think I'd like to stage an elaborate fight scene, but not a very graceful fight scene. A fight scene like in my dreams. My fighting dreams are all the same. My fists are numb and useless, my legs move in unsavory ways, and I am not the man I should be. I think that kind of a fight could work really well in a movie. It would be a fight between people who can't fight. I think a lot of people can't fight. I don't know if I know anyone who has ever been in a fight. Fighting is such a glamorous thing in a person's life. Fighting is a hobby that has lots of benefits, like street cred and ruggedness. Can you believe that people fight eachother? How exotic is that? Can you imagine what kind of a fight could be on the big screen? There are so many ways to capture motions and colors, and people always surprise you with the way they behave! Isn't that the truth? I'll start asking people about fights.
