Do you you play an instrument and read music? If so you can be part of an online performance of a piece that I have written called 23 Fragments. It is not hard to play...and best of all, you don't need to leave your home.
I need an ensemble of home recording musicians, willing to record 23 short phrases and email them to me. I will then layer, loop and combine these recordings to create a finished piece.
The style is orchestral minimalism, not far from the Nyman/Glass/Reich/Riley type thing. The difference is YOU can be one of the performers, all you need to do is read the score, record the 23 short phrases, and send them to me. And in return you will get a free copy of the finished work. Deal?
