This one is the Fuji Natura Classica 35mm and boy is it a beaut... It has a super fast lens (28-56mm f/2.8-5.4 zoom lens) that can capture indoor shots without the need for a flash when used with 800 ISO (or higher) speed film. Also, this baby has auto focus. Not something you see from an analogue camera. The con is that it's $300. Maybe I'll try to obtain one after I get my DSLR. Enjoy.

Bottle Cap Tripod

This provides a solution to the issue that's probably as old as the camera itself: What to use as a tripod when you don't lug a tripod around? It's easy, this little Bottle Cap Tripod slides onto the vast majority of national and international water caps, the universal adaptor fits onto pretty much every camera and the little hinge allows the little baby to swivel gently. That's it you are done. Whether it's the family picture, that special night shot or anything else that requires a tripod, the solution is in your pocket from now on.

$10.00, Buy it here.

What happens to your body if you drink a Coke right now

via ronniebruce:

In The First 10 minutes: 10 teaspoons of sugar hit your system. (100% of your recommended daily intake.) You don't immediately vomit from the overwhelming sweetness because phosphoric acid cuts the flavor allowing you to keep it down.

20 minutes: Your blood sugar spikes, causing an insulin burst. Your liver responds to this by turning any sugar it can get its hands on into fat. (There's plenty of that at this particular moment)

40 minutes: Caffeine absorption is complete. Your pupils dilate, your blood pressure rises, as a response your liver dumps more sugar into your bloodstream. The adenosine receptors in your brain are now blocked preventing drowsiness.

45 minutes: Your body ups your dopamine production stimulating the pleasure centers of your brain. This is physically the same way heroin works, by the way.

>60 minutes: The phosphoric acid binds calcium, magnesium and zinc in your lower intestine, providing a further boost in metabolism. This is compounded by high doses of sugar and artificial sweeteners also increasing the urinary excretion of calcium.

>60 Minutes: The caffeine's diuretic properties come into play. (It makes you have to pee.) It is now assured that you'll evacuate the bonded calcium, magnesium and zinc that was headed to your bones as well as sodium, electrolyte and water.

>60 minutes: As the rave inside of you dies down you'll start to have a sugar crash. You may become irritable and/or sluggish. You've also now, literally, pissed away all the water that was in the Coke. But not before infusing it with valuable nutrients your body could have used for things like even having the ability to hydrate your system or build strong bones and teeth.

Reflection

Everyone goes through times of change. It is how we handle that change that defines how it will affect us. I have decided to be proactive in this time of unemployment and sharpen my design skills in order to grow and offer more to my future employers. My sharpening started with learning Flash. I never thought how benefical it would be to me to know it until I started my job hunt. I have a long way to go as far as mastering the software and then utilizing it's powers tastefully, but I have come a long way. Knowing myself however, I am confident that I will pick up the skills I need as I need them. I mean, I had only used photoshop once before I was hired as a full-time graphic designer and now I could probably teach a beginners class on it. Please don't read that the wrong way. I am only saying that my determination to grow in my career has gotten me where I am now. I am very much humbled everytime I open a magazine or watch a movie, because there is an abundance of amazing talent out there. I only hope that I can make a miniscle mark on the design community. So I am choosing to let this time of change affect me in a positive way. I won't let the currents of time slowly drift me out into obscurity. I just have to have faith and trust that God has a bigger plan for me than I do.
