Ok, do you ever have one of those conversations where you just don't seem to be on the same page with the other person, but it is something extremely SIMPLE you are trying to explain? I had one of those convo's with my doctor today. OR, even worse, you and someone are arguing over something factual (not an opinion about something) and you KNOW you are right and you want them to believe you sooooooo badly. For example, my friend Julie and I had one of these arguments a while back. I can't remember exactly what it was but for illustration's sake, let's say it was a girl's name we met at soccer camp 2 years ago. I KNOW that her name is Bethany, but Julie insists that her name is Bridget. She keeps arguing with me but I KNOW I am right. Ever been in that situation? You just get this feeling in your chest where you want to scream because you have never been so right about something in your life but they just won't listen to you or belive you. I even remember saying to Julie, my heart hurts because I want you to belive me so badly (she laughed at me but I wasn't even kidding!).

I think God feels the same way with us sometimes. We think we have all the answers and God is sitting there on his throne saying I KNOW WHAT YOU NEED, I KNOW THE ANSWER, JUST LISTEN TO ME!!!!!!!!!! He is always right, always has the solution, and always WANTS to give it to us! I can't imagine how much patience it must take to be the God of our human race. We trust ourselves and believe ourselves way too much when we should be taking a backseat to God's authority. I mean I can just feel God saying that to me sometimes and I still insist that I have a better plan.
