I think this is sort of surreal to me right now, but it happened! They are visiting from Maryland for the week. My Uncle Bill was laid on my dad's heart as soon as he received Christ. He sent him sermons online and he watched them and liked them! So it was easy to get them to church today.

This is the cool part for me. I haven't hung out with Tyler in like 7 years. I saw him for about 15 minutes at one of my soccer games at Clemson but that doesn't really count. We all went tubing down a river yesterday and Tyler and I bonded like no other. As soon as I showed up he struck up conversation with me and I became his footrest as we floated down the river. Literally, he put his feet on my tube the whole time. Today he sat by me at church. When Perry gave the invitation I kept glancing down the aisle to see if my uncle stood up. He finally did once Perry said "if you are too scared to stand up ask the person next to you if they will stand up with you." I guess he asked my dad. Then before I knew it I was leaning forward and asking Tyler if he wanted to stand. He said yes. We stood and both of them received Christ. I knew instantly that all of yesterday, the reason Tyler was so hooked on me is because he wanted me to be his "foot rest" at tonight's service. He was terrified to stand on his own but because of the relationship we built yesterday he was no longer afraid when i offered to stand with him. God worked a miracle this weekend :)

Tyler and his dad had the most awesome embrace after the service. Tyler just lost it in his dad's arms and Uncle Bill said "we are going to do this together buddy." Then I lost it!

WOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And Bill's name is on the wall at Newspring! After the service we showed him and he wrote the date on the wall beside his name that her received Christ. YESSSSS!
