-I am falling in love with my kids at Velocity and I never thought I would feel that way. As soon as I started seeing them as objects of God's affection and not psycho billie ninjas on crack, my feelings changed. One of them is even teaching me the "Soldia Boy" dance! That's right.
-I almost slept in my jeans the other night which I was totally OK with, however, sweatpant capris were a much better option
-I was reminded the other night during some awesome real talk that I really do have the best friends in the world
-I was killing time at work last night and picked up OK! magazine. I was blown away this article. "Tom and Katie celebrate their one year anniversary." But the subtitle was something like "secrets to such a successful marriage." The way it was portrayed was as if it was a huge deal that they made it one year. I guess it is big for a celeb marriage but dang, one year? Then there were 10 tips to why their marriage was so "successful" and one of them was "No matter where we are we make it a goal to talk at least once every day." I mean I have no marriage experience so correct me if I am wrong but isn't that sort of assumed when you get married?
