Born in 2003. Right after recording the first demos, STOOP begin playing live gigs, sharing the stage with artists such as Hugo Race (Bad Seeds) and italian bands Marlene Kuntz, Morgan and Perturbazione. In 2005 STOOP win the national Heineken Contest and get to play on Heineken Jammin' Festival's main stage right before Mercury Rev, Velvet Revolver and Oasis. Between 2005 and 2006 they finish recording their first still unreleased album "Stoopid Monkeys in the House" at EsagonoRecordingStudio, Rubiera, with Pinna himself behind the desk (the 4 tracks over here are taken from it). In July 2006, after winning another contest, they play in Naples' big summer festival Neapolis, along with Iggy Pop, Robert Plant, Deus, Eels and Jovanotti. In October 2006 STOOP win the International U-Music Contest 2006 as Best Rock Act, chosen by a jury composed by Ian McCulloch and the Stones' Ronnie Wood, and perform at the U-Music Awards ceremony held at Shoreditch Town Hall in London.

Nati nel 2003. Dopo i primi demo, cominciano a suonare su importanti palchi in tutta Italia dividendoli con artisti come Hugo Race (Bad Seeds), Marlene Kuntz e Perturbazione. Nel 2005 alla trasmissione Play.it su All Music e vincono l' Heineken Contest, che li porta a suonare sul main stage dell'Heineken Jammin' Festival, prima di Mercury Rev, Velvet Revolver e Oasis. Nel Luglio 2006 , avendo vinto il concorso Destinazione Neapolis, partecipano all'importante festival partenopeo Neapolis Rock Festival, dove si esibiscono accanto a Iggy Pop, Robert Plant, Deus, Eels e Jovanotti. Nell'Ottobre 2006 vincono il concorso internazionale U-Music 2006 come miglior gruppo rock, scelti da una giuria composta da Ronnie Wood dei Rolling Stones e Ian McCulloch, e suonano alla cerimonia di premiazione tenuta alla Shoreditch Town Hall a Londra.
