Movies
I grew up as a preacher's kid in northern Wisconsin. Growing up in a part of the country that has long, cold winters; I spent a lot of my time trying to be creative and watching movies. I grew up with classics like Shane, The Rear Window, Gunga Din and Stagecoach. If it's, old I've probably seen it. My taste in movies has broadened since then but I still love a good story. Today I enjoy films like The Lord Of The Rings, Unbreakable, A.I., The Matrix, Saving Pvt Ryan, The Patriot, The Sixth Sense, The Star Wars Epic, Blade Runner and Dune.
Music
I spend a lot of time listening to a cornucopia of music. I grew up with the sounds of the classical masters, rock & roll legends and the pioneers of 70's "Christian" rock while sketching, sculpting or building model airplanes. Artist like Bob Dylan, Larry Norman, Bach, C.C.R., Resurrection Band and Beethoven gave me an appreciation for music. As I grew, my musical taste broadened. Today, I will listen to just about anything (except country). Some of my current favorites are: U2 - My all time favorite band, Moby, The Wallflowers, Tait, Over The Rhine, Coldplay, Stevie Wonder, P.O.D., Steve Taylor, The 77's, Keith Green and Jon Gibson. Other favorites are Propellerheads, Andy Hunter, The Crystal Method, Cloud 2 Ground, Paradigm Shift, Virus, Hydro, Vangelis, Massive Attack, Fatboy Slim, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Mute Math, Switchfoot, Ben Folds, Keane, David Crowder Band, Tait, Remy Zero, Sixpence None The Richer, Travis, Taylor Sorenson, Death Cab For Cutie, Jars Of Clay, Tool, Anberlin, B.R.M.C., Kent, Blue Merle, Chevelle, They Might Be Giants, Pink Floyd, Robert Randolph, Mae, Kevin Max, Plumb, & Radiohead.
Television
I don't have much time to watch much TV besides reruns. I like House, The Office, Seinfeld, Frasier, CSI, Law & Order, and Cosby.
