In a world where fancy equipment and expensive hardware overshadow the importance of creative ideas in music production, simplicity emerges as the key ingredient to the listening experience. Adhering to these principles, ex-highschool teacher and expatriot, "the nucc" (pronounced "nooch") blends thought provoking lyrics with hypnotic soundscapes and intelligent melodies, creating a sound that leaves an imprint on the creative mind. the nucc has played numerous venues up and down the West Coast since 2002, including The House of Blues in Anaheim. He also performed at Jam Session for NBA All Star Weekend 2005 in Denver with names on the bill such as Method Man, Red Man, and Common. His music has been featured on MTV, CBS, Fox Sports, IMF, Fuel TV, a US Cellular commercial, and "Peel" a surf film directed by Wes Brown.
the nucc has two projects currently in the works, a full length solo LP, and an instrumental album. His first independent release, Bachelor of Science ep can be purchased below.
