I've worked out why you can't see your 'Groups' - If your a 'band' like you are it doesn't show the groups you belong to. Check out Chris' page (no groups) and then check out Pappy's page (it shows the groups).
The fender and Jet are doing great! I like the twin' s power and reverb a lot. It's great for surf or modern rock. I tend to prefer my silvertone amp though for that vintage vibe. Did you listen to the new Beck cover I recorded the other night? It's on my playlist and is called "Lost Cause". That's my country club in the neck position (magnatron pickup) played through my 1966 silvertone 1484 amp. I think it sounds soooooo gretsch. My Jet doesn't have that old beatles sound and I think it's because the Jet has stock new filtertrons in it. I may have to get some TV Jones to throw in it? Talk to you later man...
Hey guys! Thanks for the compliments on the gear. I don't have a way of posting anything. That's a work in progress and even at that I am one of those guys who's gear far exceeds my talent! I'm in this because I love it! I would strongly suggest if you get the chance to check into the Tophats! I do believe that if you spend the kind of money that we spend on these guitars of choice, like Gretsch! You should spend the extra coin on the best possible amp that fits you. For me it's Tophat. This one is my 4th and they live up to my expectations. Charlie Ray there's a lot of Tophat players in the SoCal area. Go to the Tophat forum athttp://www.tophatamps.com/forum/ and ask around. There's a whole lot of good people there that will point you in the right directions!
