I don't really call myself a web designer but I can still sculpt with some code when it is needed. I have just finished a site for an online custom drum company and really got into the project. It was in collaboration with a design friend Luke. It was a chance to take on a new tasks of merging a website with a payment system. You can check out the website by clicking the image below.

Dont worry the christmas theme is only for the festive season and will be putting up a sparkley new site in the new year.

It's been a busy past few months and a while since I last updated some work. This is a website I have just completed for a photographer based in London. Some of my work has been chosen for display in an exhibition by Bloods Art Monger in November. The event is to be held in Bath and awaiting further details in relation to dates and location. The group is a combination of artist and designers from a range of different backgrounds and I cant wait to get involved.

This newspaper was part of an edition of 50 with the intention of being handed out to the public as they go about their everyday routine. It was created to question the repetition of the media headlines suggesting that today will be like any other. Each edition has been hand screen printed onto 100gsm woodland wove and can be available upon request.

The publication launch is all set and ready to go. The shelves are hung, the floors are swept and the publication is ready to go. There is a private launch tomorrow night at the howies store, Bristol between 6-9pm so head down and pick up a copy and have a refreshing beer.

A sneaky peak of the publication I have been working on with a group of student from uni. In total there are 2000 printed with over half screen printed already. The publication was focusing on the awareness of process throughout a student's time at university so each cover was given a unique touch by screen printing across a series of books with a veriety of different colours. Some were looking really crisp, some a little faded and there's the occasional finger print thrown in for good luck. There is talk of a launch night at howies, Bristol so it would be great for all to come and see what we are all about and get your hand on a copy. More news soon...

"The Designer..." is an interpretation of what the designer can be / represent. Using the staggered page layout it suggests the multiple applications of the designer and reveals each statement one at a time.

Its been a busy month with a recent trip to Berlin. Second time around due to the weather conditions of febuary and the flight getting cancelled after 7hrs in Bristol airport. As soon as we arrived we seemed to be leaving and the city is crammed with a mass of visual excitement.The wall at the East Side Gallery

There were also two other designs studios that we visited which was a great source of inspiration:
Image-shift - who are dedicated to cultural, social and political graphic design
Doppelpunkt - who work with communication design within print and digital media.

Its was a great experience to visit a new city and take a break from the hustle and bustle of Bristol.

Here are a few pics of the latest work I've been producing for uni. The self directed module, which is what I will be working on right up until the degree show is taking shape but needs to step it up a gear ready for June.
"Tickets Please" is a small catalogue of all the tickets that I have collected over the past few months whilst working on the project. The next series of booklets A To B were in conjunction with the recent Berlin trip where I got fellow classmates to document their own responses to this new city. A focused on Bristol and their recollections of home, To focused on the journey and B focused on the final destination being Berlin.
From the responses that were collected from the trip I am now currently compiling the information into a series of booklets and posters to represent peoples unique perceptions of the journey between the two places. I wanted to use other peoples opinions rather than my own to create a more engaging and in depth result. Here are some rough spread design's for the booklet focusing on the journey.
