without application to life, and hands on experience, instruction and direction fails.
if it doesn't peek my intrest, or just seems useless....forget it.
could be why i HATED geometry in HS.

Could be why most high school students abandon their "faith" in college.?!

One of the saddest times of my life was baptizing a young lady at HS camp last year.
She said she "accepted Christ and wanted to be baptized"....i hope that is right.
It wasn't the peer pressure, or seemed right, or expected of her.....right?!!
All of me wanted to not baptize her and instruct her to continue to wrestle with God.

Has the church hypnotized young people to "believe" in a God they don't even know, only to later say "oh, i've done that and tried that...it didn't work for me"?
