I'm really not too adept at CSS, so figuring this out consists of me constantly making small changes based completely on guesswork and assumption, and then looking to see if it had the intended effect. Truthfully, this is always how I've done my coding since I never took the time to genuinely learn any kind of code, and somehow I've managed to build multiple sites this way.

Still, CSS is a new beast to me, and I'm just not getting a handle on it with the little time I have. I'll still be making tweaks over the next few days, but if you have tips I'm more than welcome to take them.
