Ableton Live Producer is a group for anyone that produces music using Ableton Live. If you are a producer and Live is your DAW then this is a new home for you and any music that you may want to share with the Internet community at large. So why did I start this Music Organization? Instead of making a compilation why not just start a community here. This way each artist can have their own page where they can talk about what they use and how long they have been at it and so on (good idea heavensdaw). This group is just a place where all the other profiles can be accessed forming a community. I have already started to set up a producers forum as well.
I am doing this for fun. I got inspired by this thread I mentioned earlier. I am not trying to control content, or sway people from making what ever other collaborative projects that may be underway. I have been deeply effected by Ableton Live and have spend thousands of hours with it since version four when midi was introduced to it. I teach Ableton, I perform with Ableton, build custom controllers to work with Ableton, and quite honestly am just inspired by it in general.
It seems that there is no way for me to automate the process of becoming an artist of this group. This means that I will have to get the email address that you use to log into virb. Send it to me in a message and I will add you. At that time you receive an invite. I will then add all the music in your virb profile to the player.
This Org. is bran new so please bear with me. Also please feel free to post comments. It would be great if this could work out.
