bsentia started up around year 2002. From the beginning it tried to represent emotions and states of mind that are the essence of human being. The first demo album "One step After" is a collection of melodic, soft dark-ambient works mainly, though it contains compositions that touches cacophony and arrhythmia as well. It tells the story about what happens with the mind of a human, who is passing through a cycle of drastic changes, or - more precisely - what marks theese changes leave on him. In 2004 the man that stands behind the project - Jerzy 'Irbis' Gorczyca - started works with the second demo album of Absentia "Voices of humanity...". This time he wanted to tell about what was happening in that period of time - with the people, the world and his reactions on reality that was all around. These works were harsh and more beated. Music represented something between industrial and noise style rather than smooth sounds of the "One step after". Recently the third episode of Absentia's activity have started. In 2005 -2006 Absentia was working on "Waiting", this album opened new episode in project's activity. After "Waiting" short album "Personality" was released (only for Internet distribution). In 2007 "Waiting" was officially released by Via-Nocturna. The same year works on next album "otherside" were started. In the same year additional concept was born. "random live act" is some kind of experiment. Sounds from this project are some live records, improvisations . Absentia wants to keep some moments alive with this project. "random live act" will probably have great influence on the future band's activity. At the end of 2007 "otherside" was finished and ready to be released
