achilles. are a five piece primarily instrumental band based in North Dorset and Bristol. They comprise of drums, double bass, guitars, synth and saxophone. In early 2006 they recorded a two track 16 minute EP with Wellerhill productions (Dan Weller and Justin Hill of Sikth). A third track was recorded in the autumn of 2007 which they had been developing for a while, Yoga For Cats which takes its name from an Orion publication on feline fitness. The EP is completed by an Up In Arms remix by Bristol/Brighton based attak.media.
They are currently in the process of circulating their music and extending their fan base.
Their sound draws influence from jazz, hip-hop, rock, electronica, soul, funk, metal and many varied artists and musicians.
