About
another cultural landslide (ACL) is the instrumentals-only identity of our two band identities (our vocals band is named x$, pronounced ex-bucks) - and another cultural landslide's a name that pretty much describes how we approach music - we mess with whatever slides downhill & lands in our laps and then roll it further downhill in your direction.
we don't fit within any genres. or at least we try not to fit within any genres.
and we try not to sound the same from one thing to the next.
we're all over the place, and that's how we like it.
most importantly, we refuse to take ourselves too seriously - life's too damned short for that. music should be fun, as well as soul-searching, heartfelt and real. oh, and it should say something, too - even if the music doesn't always use words to do that.
and that's enough words about music - we'd rather let our music do our talking any day of the week.

This is some of the most innovative music ever to hit the web. I recommend a serious listen to Another Cultural Landslide. It is a first rate example of the use of cutting edge recording techniques.
