Born and bred from the Los Angeles South Bay, A Crooked Deal For The Deaf blends Metal, Rock, and Prog Rock while retaining an accessible laid back attitude. Songs about drinking, babes, smoking, and killer freight haulers are not taboo here. The emphasis is on big sounds and utilizing the best gear we can find to deliver the purest guitar to amp experience.

Christian Sims (Guitar, Vocals) and Miles Eastham (Drums, Vocals) felt strongly that the world is short of rock bands, so in 2002 formed ACDFTD in their hometown of Torrance. To find players to round out the vision was the task at hand and it was of mutual sentiment to reach out to some old buddies. High school friend, Joe DiResta became the original guitarist (with Christian on bass) and we rocked, writing and performing for ourselves first and foremost. Out of these sessions came the desert rockin' "You and Me, for all Time, Wasted." which encapsulates the drive and purpose of ACDFTD.

Now back for another round, with a slight line-up change, we feel the direction we started in is truer than ever, thanks in large part to guitarist Mike Naz. Mike brings the master of shreddery that he wowed us with way back in our youth, and the passion that pushes us to another level. Together with Mike Merle (of Avid Rogue) on bass, Crooked Deal is currently gigging and making plans for recording.
