Actual Birds is my nom de plume/art/musique; my real name is Dustin Krcatovich. I'm just trying to save you the embarrassment of pronouncing my last name wrong (oh, you will), and me the relatively minor, but substantial, irritation of same.
As of this writing, I have released two full-length albums under this moniker, as well as a handful of EPs, cassettes, reel-to-reel tapes, motivational posters, trading cards, comics, etc. On several past musical projects, I have collaborated closely with Fred Thomas (Saturday Looks Good To Me/ Flashpapr/Fred Thomas). I also play in the bands Forever Stoked, Actual Birds & The High Spirits, Brain Shake, Boxcars, Meow Meow Meow Meow Meow Meow, and Lovebirds.

uh, i was looking at this page and my itunes shuffle just started playing you. i mean isn't that strange since, like, i don't sit staring at you profile all day with the shuffle option on and the search narrowed down to actual birds? well, at least i wasn't doing that this time.
