A Death in Summer

Acoustic / Rock

Fowlerville, MI

Billboard

A Death in Summer has been described as an intelligent, emotional rock band that is excitingly human. Founded in 2005 by lead singer/songwriter Kimberly Streible, A Death in Summer soon began to take root and in 2006 added another member, Eric McVay on the bass guitar. The pair began writing songs and creating demos in late 2006. Known for their eclectic songs and autobiographical and memorable lyrics, the band soon took off and formed an internet audience that sparked further development for the band. In 2007 having written 16 songs, Kimberly and Eric knew they would have to open the fold and welcome more musicians to help finalize their vision. Todd Larsen, a guitarist of amazing abilities joined the fold and added another element to the band. The debut album, Towards Tomorrow is set for release in September of 2007.

The Debut Album Aug 19

We are very excited to be releasing our first CD next month. We have been living with these 16 songs for several months without sharing them with the world, and we are anxious to set them free and hope that our fans new and old enjoy them as much as we have. We are slowly expanding ourselves on the internet, it is a tedious endeavor but we have met so many great people, its worth all of the time and effort.

hi Kim......nice to see someone else taking advantage of this site......Virb might not be as popular as Myspace or have the Almighty charts of AP but i think there are more options for showcasing and selling your music here......plus your page doesn't get trashed by adverts.....anyways, thanks for the add and good luck with your CD
