I am a 26 year-old singer/lyricist from Calgary. My debut CD 'Africa Violet' was released in 2006 on Absurd Machine Records to rave reviews from the national media.
I have been privileged to play several high-profile club and festival gigs, and have been able to share the stage with artists such as Marcia Griffiths, K'naan, Tanya Tagaq, Samsara, Lagbaja, Bill Bourne, Mishka, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Maiko Watson, Moses Mayes, King Sunny Ade and many many more.
We're currently hard at work on my next album which should be out sometime in the second half of 2009.
