Life is beautiful as a spark ...

I'm **Aka** aka Vincent.V, graphic designer, born in Nantes where I grew, grew, grew ...
After a musical culture, based on my father's tapes (Funk, Disco, Soul, Rhythm & Blues
oldschool...), the MF-strip of my mother's Guettoblaster Phillips 5 watts (New Wave,
Hip Hop, Pop, Variétoche ...) and the vinyls of my old cousin Kiki (Reggea, Ska,
Indi rock ...) I discover the Acid Beat in 1989, "This is the sound of C". Terrifying year
during I engrave and draw some Smileys on all support ...

Follows a beautiful period of auditory mixture based on all and nothing has until the
summer 1991... one makes me discover "Our Darkness" of Ann Clark... Bang !!!...

Then come the hour of the discovery of the electronic music with "Rez" of Underworld...
Bing!!! ... and the famous Anthem of Age of Love addicted me definitly... Discovering
with everything that goes with... We are stupid at 17 years old!

Definition of my sound's mentors during the following years 1992-1998: First Ritchie
Hawtin (Plastikman), and Jeff Mills and Underground Resistance, Daft Punk, Carl cox
(at his beginning time - Trancecore), Aphex Twin, Autechre, of course Mr LOLO aka Garnier,
Stacey Pullen, Derrick May ... So in one word : Detroit !!!... Meanwhile I spend my nigth
in free parties and teknivals and Chicago House parties too...

In 1999 I leaved Nantes area for Panam city (Paris) and those places of debaucheries
which my temple nicknamed REX CLUB.
About paris I refocusing on a more tranquillity Housey period ^^ (Ben Sims, Drumcode,
Primate records, SquarePusher, Vrecording, BlackRecords for DnB ...) during which I
learned the job of "Crepes maker" (Dj Rickshaw) for the happiness of my Girl (lol).
And, one day to detour of the street Oberkampf (Rue de Ménilmontant i was living)
and on the advice of friends I discover Katapult (RIP) and the artists crew Mmmmmm...
Ark, Akufen, Isolée, Zip (perlon, karat, kompact crews...), etc... and Ricardo Villalobos...

Finally, I leaved Paris at the end of 2003 with his wife and child for Niort city or Deadland
for intimate where I met by chance few afficionnados with who I quickly made friends
(Aldente records crew). Since we do what we can ... Luckily, the Baleine Distribution store
is not so far ...

This is roughly 3 years since I started in the producing, I am addicted to the disgracious
rhythms and melodies (with limits ^^). I want to that groove and that Fu(n)ck ...
Now it's up to you to appreciate or kick me in the dust ^^
