Do you know why you are all here? Have you've got an idea why you are all reading me? Why you, even though the world apparently is falling apart, still feel fine? Because your mission in the world is just to live your life the best way you can and survive it... while you can. My mission, on the other hand, is to enlighten you, so you don't have to.

Short intensities. Following other posts' tradition of creating visual interpretations of a song. This piece was born while I was listening to Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon. The tracks that get to me the most are Breathe, Us & Them, and Eclypse. This album's …

2008 was a very busy and rewarding year. Specially for us at Fluid, and our e-commerce sites. Two of the projects I worked closely as a designer got to be in Internet Retailer's Best of the Year list. Wohooo!
I'm attaching links to the actual scanned articles, to prove …
Dec 9, 2008
Well folks, thought of bringing you something different this time. Helping out my friends from the Drift (the gals who bring House music and women together) with a little flyer. Next party is on Thursday - Dec. 18 at Underground SF. Last of the year, so lets make it …
Grindhouse, Fight Club, 8 1/2, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, L'Auberge Espagnole, Pi, Waking Life, Contact, I Love Huckabees, The Lion King (sin verguenza!), Requiem for a Dream, Trainspotting, Seven, Whatever Happened to Baby Jane, The Sound of Music, The Little Mermaid, Sunset Boulevard, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, all films by Wong Kar Wai (there's something unhappily appealing about them).
My mp3s are quite assorted and international, yet there are a few groups and singers I'm into more than others. My favs are: The Flaming Lips, Shakira, Pink Martinis, Sylvia Rexach, Modest Mouse, The Beatles, Rilo Kiley, Tony Bennett, Latin Rock bands (specially from 1994!), and Residente Calle 13 (representando!)
I get my kicks out of watching shows from Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, The Travel Channel, and the History Channel... but when I'm not being a docu geek, I like Adult Swim and reality tv drama... specially when they have marathons (the best invention since the microwave). And of course, thank you MTV and VH1 for those silly celebrity shows like Best Week Ever that keep me informed of what goes on in the world. Forget you, FOX News... you cater to wimps ;P
I'm not ashamed to say I like airplane readings, the latest are Chuck Palahniuk's novels, and books filled with weird facts, like Freakonomics, Blink, The Tipping Point, Fast Food Nation, and The Genius Factory. All time favorites from the past are Ceremony, Cien Años de Soledad, Contact, and El Perfume.
My day consists on satisftying Marc The Crab's needs... yet my nights belong to me. And yes, the offer is still up... to have someone sexy teach me how to cook.
I love visual stimulation. Every aspect of my life is bent, and molded into a visually gratifying concept. I'm into traveling, film, photography, sociopolitical discussions, graphic design, web, frisbee, reading, writing, researching stuff in wikipedia (for the sake of it!), documentaries, and silly reality tv show marathons. I'm into experimenting all sorts of things... they are all appealing to me, as long as they are different, and make for good cocktail wit.
