VIRB

1) I REALLY need someone to bounce ideas off of for my whole Supernatural/Firefly crossover. Like, really. I'm almost at the point of, my email is alexifer at gmail, put up with my ramblings and I will love you forever!

2) I also really need to go back and tag my old entries. I don't mind about links not working (although, REMIND ME, I'm totally going to scrub archive.org of those South Park slash fics that are both serious AND awesome, and put them under my pwd-protected folder on my new domain), but the whole... not being able to FIND things on my LJ really kind of annoys me.

3) I have a secret/sub-conscious obsession with Sam in Supernatural. It's just... wrong. I don't like him as a character, he's the annoying little brother, the rebellious teenager, the one who doesn't give a shit about his older brother's man-pain (but does, at the same time), and also, I'm really not convinced on Jared as a dramatic actor. (I think he'd do awesome comedy sketches, but not the emo shit he's been dragged through for SPN.) SO, it really makes no sense.

4) Thank you, really, to ANYONE who has had to put up with me talking about SPN and everything with you... antigonesgift, moonlight69, and spacetiger especially. I'm sorry for any pain I may have caused lately, talking too much meta or too much about my random obsessions or story ideas... I hope you all forgive me. ;)

5) As per usual, Thing-A-Day for this week has been steadily going along! By that I mean I have done three things but unfortunately can only really show you one. Today, I went out with my dad to see the Chinese New Year celebration parade in the city. It was loads of fun, we saw a big crowd of tourists and Sydney-siders alike acting like complete tools in the sunshine, we watched a great performance by people from Shaanxi province where I have spent nearly twelve months of my life, walked around a packed Chinatown and got caught up in a dragon parade, and got absolutely sunburned. Like, so sunburned I'm actually going to wear makeup to mask it tomorrow. I'd rather look like a corpse than a lobster.

6) The other Things are A - playlist, which my new awesomesauce program Tangerine! is working on, via analyzing the BPS of all my songs and using a preset "exercise" list, which I am going to use to walk to work this week. I'll report by at least Tuesday on how it's working. And my second Thing a Day is B - private so there are no pictures or it didn't happen. Basically it's a letter, but I don't want you all to see it so I'll just say it happened and you'll have to take my word for it!

7) I hate leaving on an odd number, but seven is a good number to end on (better than four or eight or nine, for various reasons), and so now I'm going to get a good night's sleep - contrary to last night when I literally stayed up until 4AM trying not to dream about scary things from the new Supernatural episode - and be bright and bubbly for a new day at work tomorrow. I guess we'll see how that all goes!
