Waking to Mount Fuji
After three days and two nights of us spending some time at the hot springs [onsen] in fog-bound Yamanaka-ko and Kawaguchi-ko, in a hotel that reportedly had the best views of Fuji...... we got our view this morning. This shot was taken at around 6.40am and shows my son Joe [with 'just got out of bed' hair] looking at Fuji-san from our hotel window. Yes, I had to walk one metre from my bed for this spectacular view. I was laughing and crying at the same time with the truly awesome nature of this view. Now we all really feel like we have arrived in Japan to start our new life......
