Welcome to Buckeye Films.
Buckeye Films was created in 2007 by Allan Gildea to promote his work as a live action director and a motion graphic artist. Buckeye Films produces music videos, corporate promos, title sequences and live action content for broadcast as well as private and public sector clients. We are also developing drama projects.
Only one year old, Buckeye's client list already includes the BBC, CBS Viacom and the UK music industry.
Allan has recently been employed by BBC Northern Ireland to create TV spots promoting Children In Need 2008 and coverage of the Belfast Arts Festival. In 2007 Allan was awarded a bronze Shark award for the "Politics On A Plate" campaign which he conceived, co-wrote and directed for BBC Northern Ireland. Buckeye Films have also produced content for Hinman Media, Green Inc Productions, Coey Advertising, Lander Music Group and Circle Communications.
Allan is pleased to be joined by Chris Myers, formerly of Film London, whose Assisting Directing credits include "Bridget Jone's Diary" and music videos for Madonna, Sting, Blur, Oasis and Cher amongst others.
We work closely with our clients throughout the creative process to ensure that our work communicates your intended message and core values with clarity and excellence. Buckeye Films contract production expertise on a per job basis. A wide skill base and low overheads allow us to deliver high end production values at competitive rates, on both live action and post-heavy/motion graphics jobs.
