KITTY AND HORSE FISHERMAN by COREY ARNOLD

This photograph is by COREY ARNOLD, 31, who is a photographer and Alaskan crab fisherman. During October, January, and February you will find him working and photographing aboard the f/v Rollo in the Bering Sea. You may have spotted him aboard the Rollo on the Discovery Channel's Deadliest Catch. Now he keeps his things in Portland, Oregon after spending the last 5 years in Oslo, Norway.

Corey's work has been exhibited in galleries worldwide most recently, Richard Heller Gallery-Santa Monica, Higher Pictures Gallery-NYC, Kunstneres Hus-Oslo Norway, Art Basel-Miami, The Tiny Vices tour in Japan/Paris and The Nordic Heritage Museum-Seattle.

Corey has been nominated for the Aperature West book prize for 2007.

In 2005 he received a grant from the American-Scandinavian Foundation to photograph fisherman and whalers in Northern Norway, a project that continues to this day.
