His innovation is in blending the varied history of Electro, 20th Century Avant Garde and his native Cuban influences, ranging from the ritual music of Santeria to the Afro Cuban highs of 1930's Havana. With this stew of influences, he creates a dense and colorful sound, melding advanced electronics with intricately played live hand drums.

Alpha 606 has released two ep's, "Computer Controlled" on Dopamine (2004) and "Electronica Afro-Cubano" on Interdimensional Transmissions. His tracks Domino, Anarchy in China and Rise of Human Being have made numerous appearances on several compilations on labels such as Andrea Parker's Touchin' Bass, Transient Force and Sound Records respectively.

He has remixed Nomadic and Exzakt and has been remixed by Phoenecia.

Armando has recently been working with Nomadic on a concoction of Latin Electronics known as Iya.
