Jumping from guitar to piano and back, Amanda delivers songs that are tastefully built around passion and melody. Nurtured by influences such as Joni Mitchell and Carole King, her introspective music ranges from sultry blues inspired love songs to power-driven pop hits, all carried by her emotional vocal performances.
Her song "Everything Lies" off of her second EP, "Between You & Me" was featured on season 3 of MTV's "The Hills." Along with her first EP, "Wait", Amanda has sold over 2,000 copies and is in radio rotation from the Northeast to Hawaii. Amanda was also recently chosen by Coldplay to open for them in her home state of Connecticut.
Surrounded by a love of music at an early age, Amanda trained as a classical violinist from the age of four. At the age of 13, she broadened her focus by learning guitar and piano, and began developing her vocal skills with the nationally recognized Elm City Girls Choir. Armed with years of classical training and non-classical influences, Amanda eventually found a personal balance in singing/songwriting.
Amanda is currently working on a third, full-length release, while continuing to perform at a variety of venues in the Northeast. She also sings the National Anthem regularly for the New York Islanders and at other professional sporting events.

Roadie No. 1 - The COLDPLAY BLOG Aug 8
Thanks to everyone's votes and support, this past Saturday I was able to take a big step forward and open for Coldplay at the XL Center in my home state of Connecticut. The experience was absolutely overwhelming, and more than I ever could have hoped for. In the spirit of Coldplay and their roadies, I've decided to have my boyfriend/roadie Brian share the experience through his own words. A video of backstage, show, and the entire experience is coming very soon. Enjoy!

Hey Amanda, I finally got to finding a computer with a sound card. You have a lovely tone to your voice and I enjoyed listening to your stuff. I like the used of cello in your video as well. It gives your set something a bit different (although I think you should have a trumpet in the mix as well :) ). I hope things are still going well for you in the good old US of A, from what I read in your intro your nice and busy. If you get a chance I've just put up a new video on my page. It's very different from your video but think you'll enjoy it. All the best mate
