hi, im amber marie thompson and im a college graduate with a bachelor of science degree in music business. i recently spent a semester on the island of martha's vineyard (off the coast of massachusetts) at the contemporary music center. the cmc is an exclusive artist's community for musicians and entertainment industry executives. while there, i worked for island artist management, helping up-and-coming indie artists with touring and their recording sessions in the studio. i was also a product manager of our cd compilation release at 450 records, worked for offshore entertainment group as a marketing director, and was executive producer of tons of live shows at the islands top music and entertainment venues. being on the island has inspired me to pursue and live out my dream of sharing my heart to touch peoples lives by being involved in this industry. i am currently writing, compiling and recording my second custom ep and actively selling my first that was released earlier this summer. i love to sing and im doing that whenever and wherever i can. my plans are to move to one of the major "music scene cities" and soon begin my own career in the music business...eventually. (whenever i gain enough experience as my resume requires of me and as the world tells me i should!) next stop...new york...

strange dream...
