Wer bin ich?
Ich bin Kristin. Ten + Ten y/o. Heaven's a journey, but hell's just around the way. I never know what to write in these things. I haven't lived much - at least, I don't think I have, despite feeling rather old. I'm studying to be an English/Creative Writing major. I want to attend school somewhere in the Midwest - thinking Iowa. WEST is my MANIFEST DESTINY. New York bores me, I'm tired of it - it's dull. Nothing great to see here on Lawn Guyland, I assure you. Except that Tony "Yayo" lives in my town and has parties for high school kids. That's amusing.
I read quite a lot - favorite authors, as of right now, are Vladimir Nabokov and J.K. Rowling. If Nabokov were alive today I'd take him out for coffee, long walks, and make him a nice, home-cooked meal. His writing makes me love him. There's such beauty in each page, stroked into every word.
Anais Nin is my personal heroine - I admire her, greatly. That's from where Alraune comes - though she was using it to describe a tempestuous temptress of a woman, her lover's wife, I fell head over heels with the myth surrounding Alraune. A creature born that calls into question the age-old Nature VS Nuture debate. Never mind the fact that, in some variations of the myth, she's a sexual dynamo...
I work part-time as a florist. I believe in [a] God. I'd rather spend my days writing, reading, and lavishing myself, shamelessly - I'm just that kind of lusty person.
