Background
It's something that goes beneath the everyday facade that we place up. It knifes its way into our souls and remains there as a constant reminder to be greater than who we are. Music is something incredibly powerful and the fact that I have a chance to create it is humbling.
I haven't done this long--creating music, that is. But long enough to know a couple things. I've played only one show (well, two if you count a high school talent show--haha). I've found a passion for it, though. So we will see where that leads me.
As of now I am focusing on school and trying to get into a good college (Duke, Vanderbilt, or Boston University). Music has kind of been put on the back burner. But maybe sometime in the future I'll be able to get some better recordings and actually come out with a substantial CD or EP.

An Ode to Selfishness Apr 16
Often I become comfortable in my own small life being so selfishly wrapped up in my own world that I forget about people, life, and heartache. But then something comes across that rocks me into place. It thrusts me back into realizing who I am--and who I am not. Today was a day like that
