New York City's Anamanaguchi started in 2003 when Peter Berkman began experimenting with the NES. Combining the sharp, electronic tones of the Nintendo with powerful arena-rock guitars, Anamanaguchi creates catchy and heartfelt songs. In 2006 he made his first release, the Power Supply EP via the collective 8bitpeoples. After that Peter got together a full band to perform live consisting of Spencer Casey, Charlie Hankin & James DeVito. Since then they have been very active playing shows on the east coast, the first annual Blip Festival, and a short stint in the UK. They are currently recording a full length album to released 2007/2008.
