Andre Rehal is an independent director/writer based out of Toronto. His work features range in various digital mediums, shooting styles and genres.

He attended Carleton University in Ottawa where he majored in film studies, gaining theoretical knowledge of cinema. During this time he pursued practical experience through his own independent shorts.

After graduation he attended the Advanced Television and Film program at Sheridan College. His Master classes were in directing and screen-writing. He received the “Most Promising Student” award from Panavision upon graduation.

He has completed a 10-minute short entitled RECOLLECTION, and a 3-minute short, THE END. He has plans to submit them to various festivals throughout the year.

Andre has recently completed a music video for the local Toronto band Pandamonia. It was shot using the RED camera and was screened as part of the Queer 2 Fly Film Festival in March of 2009.
