I have a rich background in media and music with experience spanning from live audio, to digital video, to web and graphic design, in addition to my active portfolio of musical scores.  I have performed successfully both as a contractor and as an on-site employee for several media companies including <a href="http://www.Expression.edu">ex'pression school for new media</a> and <a href="http://www.sega.com">sega</a>.  I have just completed my Master's Degree in Radio and Television at <a href="http://www.sfsu.edu" target="new">SFSU</a>; focusing on the impact of score.

	A 25 student capacity video production class that examines media aesthetics concepts as they apply to experimental video practice.

7/2007-present	Musical composer and sound designer, feature length documentary, "Searching for Penn Su," Chul Heo, producer, (in production.)
<i>Searching for Penn Su draws a parallel between the first Korean student in the US and another who came 100 years later, utilizing their personal stories to map out the history of US-Korean relations. This dialogue offers insight to America's progress as an advocate for democracy throughout the world, inevitably questioning the morality of its actions. This documentary comments on the present by examining the past and recounts a political history by telling a personal story.

Scored music for strikingpictures productions' local union workers' documentary project.  

12/2006	Recording engineer, <a href="http://www.totallyled.org/">TotallyLed Ministries</a>
Recorded and produced radio ads for the play "Touch".  These ads played on all local Clear Channel urban-market radio stations.

2/2006-12/2006	Graduate Assistant BECA 231, <a href="http://www.sfsu.edu" target="new">San Francisco, State University</a>
A 25 student capacity class that taught the fundamentals of studio signal flow and ProTools 6.7.  I held this position for 2 semesters and was asked to continue teaching the class.

2/2004-10/2005	Live Sound Engineer, The <a href="http://www.ivyroom.com/">Ivy Room</a>, 858 San Pablo, Albany, CA
Managed the sound needs of all of the bands/djs that performed.  This included mic'ing bands ranging from 10 piece bluegrass ensembles, to African instrumentation, to laptops, and mixing onstage monitoring as well as the club PA.

Transcribed popular music into a General MIDI format to be downloaded as polyphonic ringtones.  Software used: Reason 2.5, Micrologic, and Cubase SX.

Ensured the quality of emerging games.  While only contract work, I began as one of 200 employees and by the end of the holiday run I was one of 6 remaining testers.  Titles tested: Phantasy Star Online for the Xbox as well as Super Monkeyball 2.

8/2001-present	Information flow/route management, 365 Media Group, Inc.
(NY Times, Wall St Journal, etc, distribution). Handle all small business account data as well as maintain returns information for all business newspaper transactions in the greater East Bay Area, using Quickbooks as well as the specialized route management software, Ivyroute.

2/20016/2001	Artsbridge Scholar program, University of California, Santa Cruz
Educational outreach program that took top students in their respective fields and had them teach their subject in the surrounding gradeschools.  Taught  3rd/4th grade class the fundamentals of filmmaking, culminating in a 10-minute film production.
