My name is Andrew Walpole and I'm an Interactive Media Design Student at the Art Institute of California - San Diego. I was born and raised on the island of Kauai. I moved to Vista, California just after high school in 2003. I spent two years enrolled in the Software Engineering Technology program at The Oregon Institute of Technology. After two years I decided I didn't just want to be a cubicle low-level code monkey so I looked around at other programs and schools and decided on the Interactive Media Design program at the Art Institute. I left Oregon Tech with my Associate of Engineering Degree in the spring of 2005 and jumped into the IMD program in San Diego in the Fall.
So far I'm enjoying what I'm learning and using my knowledge about technology, design, programming and art to design for a multitude of media platforms including web, television, and mobile.
