Andy Korg

Andy Korg, also known as "The fat king" and as a member of the Adalbert Günther Trio, dedicates his music to pop-influenced aspects of breakbeats and house.
On the one side, his productions with slower beats, very often accompanied by vocals, convince through catchy melodies and are well balanced.
On the other side his dancefloor-oriented tracks are very functional and show that they are approved in live-sets.
After Andy Korg came to the attention of the public with some net-releases, in 2005 his contribution to the Radio FM4 Sound-Selection became an underground-hit with extended airplay in the Austrian radio.
In 2006, he released his debut single on etage noir.

ready to rock

has been quite some time since the last posting. there wasn't going on to much lately. but things will change - a new mac just arrived. logic 8 runs smooth as hell now - i already did a new remix on it.
the next project on the horizon is called AG3. it's kind of a electrohouseclash boygroup, we started a few years ago and played some of the coolest locations in the world (like the zocalo in mexico city or the olympic stadium berlin - playing for rammstein, who are quite nice guys in real life).
looking forward to rock'n roll again!

it's always a nice feeling, to actually hold a new release in your hands. happened to me yesterday, when mr. parov stelar brought me some of the new bitcrusher vinyls. and what can i say... it looks beautiful!
to celebrate the new release (date is the 5th of september), there will be a releaseparty in a new bar, called solaris - more infos in the 'dates' section. i will play a liveset, just banks (and maybee the one or other surpriseguest) will tourture the decks. time to get wasted badly, i guess!
by the way: right at the moment, i am listening to the new parov stelar album, 'shine'. and it's fucking brilliant!

FINALY!!!

i know, it has been a long time since the first andy korg release but waiting is over soon. finaly, after a lot of delays, the next andy korg single left the mastering-studio yesterday! rumors say, it will be called 'bitcrusher' and it should definitely kick ass!
unsurprisingly, the boys from boogie army have done an amazing remix-job as well. they produced a real MONSTER!
if everything works out like expected, you should be able to buy the vinyl in early september.
check back to prelisten the tracks - they will be up soon.
and for advanced andy korg experience, you should visit the cream festival near linz/austria. there is a monster lineup waiting. COBURN, TYRRELL, COBURN, PAROV STELAR, COBURN and of course...COBURN - to only name a few.

just came back from sonar festival in good old barcelona, stocking up some inspiration...
it was killer again (like every year). solely the ed banger showcase was worth the 160 bucks, i swear! justice were rocking the crowd like there would be no tomorrow. big respect and hands up for you!

though the 3 days of nonstop party were stressful as hell, the batteries are on full power again. so be prepaired for some fresh andy korg tunes soon. a new single will be out on etage noir special in fall, including a great remix by the boys from boogie army! i'm pretty excited about that!

that's it for the moment. feel free to check back for the latest news and dates. have a nice day!
