So, 2009-here it is. Time to do some work. New Years Eve is always an interesting night. Everybody is full of hope and their heads full of the changes they are going to make in the year to come. And I have my own. One of them being to finish this collection of songs I'm going to call an album. In fact I'm not just going to call it an album I'm going to call it 'Life is as Short as a Day'.
There. A decision made already. I reckon 3 of the tracks are ready for mastering. another 6 to tinker with and finish. 9 is a nice number. I think. I think by February I need to have achieved a good few things. And I shall. by the summer I want to be holding it in my hand. A finished CD. Of my own, on my own record label. I said this last year of course, but the blind optimism that follows the striking of Big Ben's chimes can only be good for me. And for us in general.
