I'm in a better place today. Well ~ for now anyway. This is going to be a tremendous experience for my daughter and I am actually very excited for her. I look forward to hearing the stories (the ones she'll share anyway ~ heh). I'm thinking part of my apprehension is that she is going to experience something I know nothing of. Not going to college, especially a university and the whole experience, is not one I have knowledge of. It's one of my only regrets in life. So it will be virtually IMPOSSIBLE for me to counsel her on it. But it's also the primary reason, I am excited for her. And definitely proud. Just read some other posts wherein I was close to having to take this girl out due to school and lack of commitment and attention. But she pulled it out. And now she is on her way.
