Angels is the brilliant Dutch Goth Metal product, coming out of the psychiatric mess inside the Dirty Doctor's head....

HISTORY
Angels' roots go way back to the middle '90's: composer James Jetlag (a.k.a. 'The Dirty Doctor') wrote his first Gothic Metal tracks around 1995-1998. It where these tracks which would create the basics for several Gothic Metal projects a couple of years later.
So, 'Angels' is not just another new Gothic band, trying to fly along with the major Gothic Metal hype from the last few years, but a band with roots in the very early years of Gothic Metal. Typical elements like: classical influences, female voices, grunts, heavy and dark metal riffs, synthesizers, strings and Industrial influences come together in this band with a perfect sound and very strong compositions.

Keyboard player and composer James Jetlag has been involved in several projects with: Bas Maas (After Forever), Sander Gommans ( After Forever ), Irene Jansen (AYREON - Star One & The Human Equation / Arjen Lucassen), and used to be the man behind the Dutch Powermetal band 'Karma' (2002-2004). For a short time he also played keyboards in the promising powermetal band 'Xystus'. Between 2003 - 2006 he studied Keyboards & Synthesizers / Music Management & Business at the Dutch Rockacademy.

Mistress Nadya is the band's face and voice... a strong lady who keeps the freaks of the band perfectly on their spot with her amazing voice and powerful discipline.
