I find hilarious that after 14 years of being a "fake vegetarian" (cause I eat seafood once in a while),
my mum still tells me to cook a piece of chicken (which I find gross) or meat for diner (as I recall I used to like it),
or even suggest that I should buy a piece of it in the market cause she says that I'm going kill her cause of my extreme thinness.
(I actually think I'm OK, but that's me).
I guess for her I'd always be her little baby girl...being the younger of 3, and besides the only girl doesn't help much.

I recall a situation that happened few years ago. I was lighting a cig, while she was talking to a friend of her sitting in the living room. This woman turned around saying, "Aren't you a bit young to be smoking??...If I was your mum we'd be having a serious conversation!!".
I laughed and said to her, "I feel flattered, Do I really look that young?"
She looked at me with "The Look", if you know what I mean.
I told her, "I might look young but I've been smoking for a long time now....I'm 25".
My mum's friend apologised for the "mothers talk", and said,
" I thought your mum had told me you where 16...I'm quite positive she did".
I repeated "I'm 25"...
I just turned said to her, "nice to meet you" and went out.
(I actually didn't pay any attention to me mum while this was happening).

Next day my mum said, "We need to talk"....when mothers in general say "we need to talk", it's NEVER for something good!
So I decided to start the conversation hoping to do my best.. " Coco" (as I call her), "you're such a liar",
(#2, NEVER call your mum a liar)...
She gave me "the look", and said, "Miss if you had looked at me when I was making signs, this issue wouldn't have gone so far".
I kissed her and told her "Coco, don't worry either way you don't look old", and walked away.

I miss her hugs...a lot tell the truth.
