BOOK COVER DESIGN
The brief for this assignment was to choose a book and design a book cover that best portrays the content and feeling/genre of the book. My chosen book; City Of God is a powerful true story. The book cover gives the feeling of the themes within the content; slums, poverty, violence, crime and war. The design portrays these aspects through the background texture, chosen typefaces and composition of text. I also printed the cover on canvas to enhance these themes.
